Meet Our Founders
Rett
Originally from North Carolina, Rett’s journey in travel began at 16 when he accompanied his father to Vietnam on a tour for returning American veterans. This experience sparked his love for the region and set him on a path toward adventure. Holding a degree in Recreation Management and a Master’s in Education, Rett lived in Vietnam for seven years, where he worked in tourism, taught English, and developed outdoor experiential programs. His passion for exploration took him hiking, climbing, canyoning, and camping throughout Vietnam, often discovering hidden waterfalls and other natural wonders. With experience leading outdoor programs in Hong Kong and the USA, Rett brings a wealth of knowledge to Latitude Journeys, creating authentic adventures that connect travelers to the beauty and culture of Southeast Asia.
Diem
Diem, originally from Hanoi, offers extensive experience in tourism management, having worked with various companies before founding his own Destination Management Company in Hanoi. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Diem is passionate about crafting itineraries that offer unique, memorable experiences. His travels across Southeast Asia and beyond—including Laos, Myanmar, Turkey, Cambodia, and Thailand—have deepened his appreciation for diverse cultures and refined his ability to design impactful journeys. Diem’s industry insights and strong connections are invaluable as we continue to develop immersive travel opportunities for our clients.
Hoang Anh
Born in Ha Long City and later based in Hanoi, Hoang Anh brings a strong foundation in tourism sales, marketing, and hospitality management. With hands-on experience managing hotels and writing travel blogs, he has a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape and a talent for creating content that resonates with travelers. Hoang Anh’s local expertise and insight into the tourism industry are essential in connecting travelers with the authentic heart of Southeast Asia.
